ANAWALT —  Gladys Virginia Stepp, age 65, of 146 Domingo Drive, Anawalt, W.Va., passed away on Monday, September 26, 2011 at the Gary Nursing and Rehab Center in Gary.  Born on July 10, 1946 in Skygusty, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Rose Irene Lovelace Reed. She had been a lifelong resident of Anawalt and was of the Methodist faith. She was a graduate of Gary High School.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Stepp of the home; one son, Michael Stepp and wife Laura of Silver Springs, Md.; one granddaughter, Elena Stepp of Silver Spring, Md.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with the Reverend James Milam officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Thursday from 12:00-1:00 at the funeral home.
