Information just in from Jan Miller Edwards about the Fl. Rendezvous on Saturday, March 31, 2012 Hi there everyone! It's getting closer and closer to our big Florida Rendezvous so I wanted to give you some information about our special event. Betty Deel Twigg would like to once again host the reunion at her home located at 17610 Taylor Road - Alva Fl. 33920. And, as always, my home at 3651 Turtle Dove Blvd., Punta Gorda, FL 33950 will be available if need be. This year, Betty is planning on having our lunch catered so please RSVP to her or me no later than March 17 so we can plan accordingly. If you know of anyone else that would like to attend our reunion, please send them this email or make a phone call. The more, the better. Just let us know in advance about everyone attending so we'll know how much food to order. Once again, come on coal diggers! Let's celebrate. We are so fortunate to still have each other and what better way to celebrate our many blessings than being together with our good country road coal digger friends again. We are one in a million! wanted to announce that the Class of 1960 will be having their 52nd class
reunion at Pipestem Resort on July 12-15, 2012. Letters with information
will be going out the first of February. If you haven't made your
reservations at Pipestem, please do it now!!
The Gary High School Reunion will be July 13 & 14, 2012 Reunion Fee - $100 per person Country Inn & Suites 2120 Harper Road, Beckley, WV 25801 Phone # 1 304-252-5100 for Reservations. Ask to speak to Andresha Carden or Rusty Marten ( Mention that you are with the GHS Reunion. 50 Rooms and 10 Suites have been Blocked for GHS Reunion Standard Room with 2 Queen beds, microwave, mini refrigerator, ironing board and hair dryer. Coffee pot. cost $125 plus tax. Suites - One King size bed or 2 queen size beds plus a full size sleeper sofa - the above extras - $143 plus tax You'll be getting your Registration Letters in the mail approx first week in February.

Menu or Buffet starts around 12;00 Noon. Food is delicious and Everyone always has a good time. The only thing that cost you is your meal.

This is just a reminder to please pay your Alumni Association Dues. If you are not a member we ask you to join the Gary High School Alumni Association, the annual membership dues are $ 12.00 a year. Checks should be made payable to Gary High School Alumni Association and should be sent to Robert L. Little, P.O. Box 782, Bluefield, West Virginia - 24701-0782. On your check, please indicate the year in which you graduated. Please remember to send your annual Alumni Association dues. You will not receive a reminder, it is every ones responsibility to pay their dues each year.
The Alumni Association dues goes fpr scholarships to deserving students. The students are sons and daughters of GHS Alumni . Those who receive scholarships are awarded $ 250 .00 each. Donations to the fund are appreciated. Checks should be made payable to Gary High School Scholarship Fund and sent to Robert L. Little, P.O.Box 782 Bluefield,Wv. 24701 The Alumni Association dues also goes for helping out If at anytime The reunion is unable to pay their bills then the Alumni Association Treasury would do so. The Alumni Association dues also goes for maintenance and up keep of the Gary High School museum. and recently a tree fell on the roof and needs repairing. Below is about the Coaldigger Museum so pay those Alumni dues or join and help out.
