Eleanor Little Saunders, 75, of Roanoke County, Roanoke, Virginia passed away at her home with her loving husband by her side on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014.  She was born in Pocahontas, Virginia on January 26, 1939, the daughter of the late Walter L. Little and Minnie Ruth Boone Little of Bluefield, West Virginia.

She was a graduate of Gary High School, class of 1957 and a graduate of National Business College, Roanoke, Virginia.

Eleanor is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert L. (Bob) Saunders, Jr., and sons, Robert Keith Saunders and wife, Tara, of Mildenhall, England, Walter Todd Saunders and wife, Kim of Greenville, South Carolina, three grandchildren, Zane Robert Saunders, Adrian and Ava Saunders, a brother Robert L. (Bob) Little and a sister, Carolyn S. Little, both of Bluefield, West Virginia.

Services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel on Brambleton Avenue in Roanoke at Noon, Wednesday, April 23,2014.   Dr. Pete Schemm and the Rev. Chuck Stanley will officiate.  Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at Oakey's South Chapel from 10:00 A. M., Wednesday till service time at Noon.
